The first evidence of democratic party treason is shown by the fact that all early American gun control laws have their origins in slavery. Which of course was a vile institution that was solely supported by the democratic party. And the democratic party was intent on keeping the institution of slavery going at any expense. Regardless of how much misery and death it might cause.
The following is a list of the U.S. Slave States at the time of the 1856 Presidential Election. This is mentioned here due to the fact of what the democratic party had attempted to do in the State of Kansas, (a free State), around 1856. And which almost had started the Civil War four years earlier than when it actually had commenced. In addition there is also listed those states which had seceded from the U.S. and joined the Confederacy, thereby causing the Civil War:
Alabama – Democratic Party – Seceded from the Union
Arkansas – Democratic Party
Delaware – Democratic Party
Florida – Democratic Party – Seceded from the Union
Georgia – Democratic Party – Seceded from the Union
Kentucky – Democratic Party
Louisiana – Democratic Party
Maryland – American [Fillmore – Opposed Abolition of Slavery]
Mississippi – Democratic Party – Seceded from the Union
Missouri – Democratic Party
North Carolina – Democratic Party – Seceded from the Union
South Carolina – Democratic Party – Seceded from the Union
Tennessee – Democratic Party – Seceded from the Union
Texas – Democratic Party – Seceded from the Union
Virginia – Democratic Party – Seceded from the Union
There were approximately 620,000 soldiers that died from combat, accident, starvation, and disease during the Civil War thanks to democratic party treason.
And the gun control laws aimed against slaves were not the only laws the democratic party are responsible for. More recently we have the following.
Federal gun control laws:
1934 National Firearms Act – Democratic Party
1938 Federal Firearms Act – Democratic Party
1968 Gun Control Act – Democratic Party
1994 Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act – Democratic Party
The only exceptions being:
The Hughes Amendment which called for the banning of the civilian ownership of new machine guns that was signed on May 19, 1986 by President Ronald Reagan. This became Public Law 99-308, as part of the Firearms Owners’ Protection Act, which was an act amending the Gun Control Act of 1968.
And then the California Mulford Act:
In 1967, 30 members of the Black Panthers protested on the steps of the California statehouse armed with .357 Magnums, 12-gauge shotguns and .45-caliber pistols and announced, “The time has come for black people to arm themselves.”
The display so frightened politicians—including California governor Ronald Reagan—that it helped to pass the Mulford Act, a state bill prohibiting the open carry of loaded firearms, along with an addendum prohibiting loaded firearms in the state Capitol. The 1967 bill took California down the path to having some of the strictest gun laws in America and helped jumpstart a surge of national gun control restrictions.
Proving yet again that the vast majority of American gun control has its roots in democratic party racism, and had in many instances been backed by the NRA.
Assembly Bill 1591 that had been introduced by Don Mulford (R) from Oakland on April 5th, 1967, and subsequently co-sponsored by John T. Knox (D) from Richmond, Walter J. Karabian (D) from Monterey Park, Frank Murphy Jr. (R) from Santa Cruz, Alan Sieroty (D) from Los Angeles, and William M. Ketchum (R) from Bakersfield. AB-1591 was made an urgency statute under Article IV, §8(d) of the Constitution of California. It required a 2/3 majority in each house, and passed the Assembly (controlled by Democrats 42:38) at subsequent readings, and passed the Senate (split 20:20) on July 26th by 29 votes to 7. It was then signed into law by Governor Ronald Reagan on July 28th, 1967, and banned the carrying of loaded weapons in public. But it must be remembered that Ronald Reagan was a democrat up until 1962.
And here we see that the democratic party is not just responsible for Constitutionally repugnant gun control laws on the Federal level, but on State laws as well:
10 States with the strictest gun control laws:
#1 California – Democratic Party
#2 New Jersey – Democratic Party
#3 Massachusetts – Democratic Party
#4 New York – Democratic Party
#5 Connecticut – Democratic Party
#6 Hawaii – Democratic Party
#7 Maryland – Democratic Party
#8 Rhode Island – Democratic Party
#9 Illinois – Democratic Party
#10 Pennsylvania – Democratic Party
And here we see the natural result of these unconstitutional laws, as well as what party is responsible for them.
